Negotiation isn't voice-raising and bluffing. It's preparation. Here's my approach on every deal:
Evidence first. We walk in with comps, market data, and a real number for every repair item. Positions backed by facts survive. Positions backed by feelings fold.
Know the walk-away. Before the first call, you and I agree on our target, our fallback, and the number where we walk. The side that knows its walk-away has the power, and it never negotiates scared.
Keep the human on your side. Deals close when the other agent wants to work with you. I'm firm on numbers and easy to work with, which wins more counters than table-pounding ever has.
Patience as leverage. I never let a clock the other side invented force your decision. Rushed decisions are expensive ones.
