Home Builders in Lincoln, Nebraska

I’m Wade Bartels. This is a plain reference list of the companies building new
homes in Lincoln, with what each one publishes about the neighborhoods they build
in and their pricing. It is not a ranking and it is not a recommendation list. I
work with buyers at any builder in this market.

The roster starts from the Home Builders Association of Lincoln member directory
and each company’s own website. I removed the members who are not building new homes
for buyers here: remodelers, commercial contractors, brokerages, and members whose
published communities are all in the Omaha metro.

What this list will and will not tell you

Prices are mostly missing on purpose. Only 8 of these builders
publish a starting price anywhere on their own site, and not one publishes a
price per square foot. That is a real finding, not a gap in my research. Where a
builder does publish a figure, I quote theirs and link to their page. Everywhere else
it says contact the builder, because inventing a number would be worse than useless.

For real per-square-foot numbers, use recorded sales instead. On my
companion page I calculate price per finished square foot from actual recorded sale
prices of recently built homes, development by development, with the sample size shown:

Neighborhood columns are conservative. A builder is listed in a
development only where their own site or the Parade of Homes entry list names it and
it matches the city’s development records. Builders work in more places than they
publish, so treat a blank as unpublished, not as absent.

The builders

About the pricing column. Every figure is
the builder’s own published number as of 2026-07-27, copied from their site, and most
exclude the lot. Builders change pricing without notice. Always confirm current pricing
directly with the builder. Where a builder’s published pricing appeared to be several
years out of date, I left it out rather than repeat a stale number.

Before you contact any of them

One thing matters more than which builder you pick. The agent who greets you at a
model home works for the builder. Most builders require you to register your own agent
on your first visit, so walking in alone can cost you representation in
that community for the whole purchase. It almost never raises your price to bring your
own agent, because the builder has already budgeted for it.
